Trek to Valley of Shadows (Sandhan Valley)

Basic Info: Sandhan valley is One of the greatest canyons in the Sahyadri mountain ranges and second largest valley of Asia. It is a very good combination of a canyon and a valley. The water carved valley is 200 ft deep and about 3 kms long approx. Walking through the narrow streak of valley with 200 ft rock walls on both the sides is a awesome lifetime experience. Sandhan Valley is a wonder of nature & pearl in the Western Ghats of Sahyadri. The Goliath rocks found around the hollows have added to its common magnificence. This place is quite famous for adventure activities like Giant Rope swing, Hanging tent, Burma bridge, Flying fox, Valley Crossing,  Rappelling and Climbing. How To Reach: Samrad is a Base village for this Trek. It is around 195 KM from Pune. Route to reach at base village  is Pune-->Alephata-->Otur-->Kotul-->Bhandardara-->Samrad.
